Your guess is as good as mine.

As traders, our job is to react and not predict.

I will not speculate that Japan will intervene soon, however, if they announce some statement like “we are watching the exchange rates closely” then I will put in my pending orders and get ready for the ride.

Forex is a 24/5 market from Sunday evening to Friday when the New York session closes.

This doesn’t mean that any time is the best time to trade.

The best time to trade is when the currency pair meets the conditions that the trader has established for the trade.

The market may experience higher volatility during opening and closing times. For example, the European market opening time or the US opening time.
