Lets get down to talking about vision and mission. Your vision is the destination. Your mission decides how you get there.

Here’s my vision: “To create One Million Enlightened Millionaires all around the world through Forex Trading by 2020.”

Let me elaborate a little on the mission. It contains 5E’s:

1) EDUCATE – “To educate individuals on the largest financial market in the world”

Nothing happens without education. Education is always the first step towards the path of Realisation, Decision, Action and Transformation.

You’ve heard the age-old maxim “If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.” In this particular period of the global economic meltdown, we CANNOT AFFORD to be ignorant.

We have already taken the right step in choosing FOREX- we make money regardless of market direction. This is truly one of the world’s few recession-proof vehicles.

So, choose to educate yourself everyday, press your ear to the ground and emerge an “OLYMPIAN” (faster, higher, stronger) when the tide turns.

2) EMPOWER – “To empower individuals to create their desired lives with sound financial success”

Knowledge is power. When you feed on the right stuff, you BECOME the right stuff. At this stage, we are dealing with positive actions. Steps are taken to achieve results for yourself. You are in control of your financial destiny. Personal success is not complicated. There’s only FOUR keys that will help you stay on this path. They are: empowering beliefs, positive daily habits, discipline and persistence. Are you lacking in any? Work on them immediately. Don’t short-change yourself.

3) ENLIGHTEN – “To enlighten individuals on the power of unity and the principle of giving and receiving”

At the fundamental level, Educate and Empower deal mostly with the individual (yourself). The next step, ENLIGHTEN, focuses on coming together. It talks about the power of unity and collaboration.

Remember the words of Marianne Williamson:

“It is our LIGHT, not our darkness, that most frightens us.”

“As we let our own LIGHT shine, we unconsciously GIVE other people permission to do the same.”

The plateau of “ENLIGHTEN” occurs when a group of like-minded, empowered individuals unify to GIVE. True love starts to show itself here, because true love is giving, but we can’t give what we don’t have.

4) ELIMINATE – “To eliminate world poverty and financial illiteracy”

So what happens when a group of enlightened individuals come together? Power starts to flow! Since we are in the business of wealth creation, elimination deals with the OPPOSITE end of the spectrum.

I have chosen to focus on the domains of POVERTY and FINANCIAL ILLITERACY. I feel they are intertwined to some extent. Areas of extreme poverty always show signs of deep financial illiteracy. That’s the reason why we build libraries/schools, fund poor children and start up micro-funds for enterprising women in under-developed countries.

In 2000, leaders from 189 countries – including Singapore – signed The Millennium Declaration, a plan to halve extreme poverty by 2015 and end it all together by 2025. Unfortunately we’re not on track. The world needs to dedicate more resources now if we are to meet the goals by 2015.

5) EFFECT – “To effect positive ripples all around the world”

What happens when the first 4E’s are set in motion – in that order? Can we have an EFFECT on the current world conditions? Consider this:

i) Every THREE SECONDS, a child dies from extreme poverty

ii) 950 million people will go hungry today. 100 million more than a year ago, due to rising food & energy prices and the current global meltdown

iii) More than 1 billion people do not have access to clean water

iv) More than 100 million children do not have access to primary school education

The answer, quite simply, is YES WE CAN! We have already hopped onto this great vehicle called FOREX, steering it towards our own path of financial liberation. Don’t stop there. Can you imagine what we can truly accomplish in this lifetime when we create ONE TRILLION DOLLARS of new wealth together?

Friends, the purpose of life is a life of purpose. Ask yourself what that means to you. Live it everyday. Many people talk about “leaving a legacy.” Do yourself a favour. LIVE YOURS.
